Many buyers try to use the inspection period as a tool to renegotiate the price or to exact closing cost credits from a seller.  Tell tail signs include waiting until the end of the inspection period to do the inspection and/or asking for an extension of the inspection period.  In these situations the buyer is trying to stretch the time out and let the listing “cool off” in order to have negotiating leverage on the seller.  In this video, I outline how it works and offer a tip that you may be working with a flipper.
